You Too Can Be Victorious Over Your Electric Company Winter Time Illegal Disconnections
We here @ 1 866 U Fix It want to inform people of a cruel act being committed every winter here in North Carolina. It doesn’t matter if you have health problems or if you are disabled. If you are unemployed and doing your very best to make some type of payment, it won’t be good enough. It can be twenty degrees outside and it still won’t matter.
Here in North Carolina we have an electric company that disconnects people’s power in the coldest days of the year. They do not care if the elderly freezes to death in the winter time. This electric company only cares about your money. I mean they only care about the full amount listed on your bill each month.
You think if as long as make some type of effort each month they will work with you in keeping your power on. Wrong! They have no regards to human life what so ever. They don’t care if millions of Americans aren’t employed and struggling. This company will absolutely shut your power off even if there’s two feet of snow on the ground.
We know this from personal experience involving this heartless electric company. We too were victims of a wrongful disconnection on a day that was twenty degrees and our only source of heat was electricity. But through the power of prayer we became victorious over them.
Here’s what happened to us. I hope this article will help save a lot of people struggling financially from being this power company’s next victim. There is help out there to project you against electric companies turning you off in the winter time.
Due to slow business our electric got behind. We called the power company asking for help. They put us on a payment plan. We followed it to a tee. We thought everything was ok. Wrong again! I received another disconnect notice from the power company. This had to be a mistake. So we called them and was told because we broke our payment arrangements we would be disconnected that same day.
Little did we know that our local payment center was dropped by this electric company from accepting payments on their behalf? Our store here was never even notifiedthat this had happened. So, because of this we were disconnected that same day. We called the power company and they told us there was nothing we could do to keep them from shutting us off.
My wife is disabled and a heart patience. This did not matter to them at all. Because we broke the agreement we would be disconnected. Keep in mind we had no knowledge about our local payment center being dropped. We were still punished anyway. One hour later we had no heat or any power. They shut us off on one of the coldest days of the year. This was very cruel of them. In order to get the power restored we had to now pay the full amount of the past bill, a reconnect fee and a new security deposit. This company refused to do anything for us. They could care less.
Well my wife and I went to a higher power for help. We went into prayer mode. Through prayer I got the wisdom to call the Utility Commission here in North Carolina. We explained what this power company had just done and the advents that followed before it. We were informed that this company never follows the federal guidelines. This company even triples their rates in the winter months too. This even makes it harder on people here.
The Commission called the power company and demanded our service be restored. Our payment arrangements were restored and our power was restored four hours later. This electric company in North Carolina just thought they would turn us off and we were powerless to stop them. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we showed them a higher power than they are.
If you have made every effort to make some kind of payment to your power company and they tell you it’s not good enough and there is nothing they can do for you to prevent your power from being disconnected remember there is help out there. Your power company can not disconnect you in the winter time if your only heat source is electric no matter if you get behind on your bills.

This power company does not care for human life. They only care about the almighty dollar. They won’t care if you freeze to death. This company is preying on people with little income, the elderly, and people who are disabled. They are hoping by blackmailing people in believing you can’t get your power restored unless you pay them first plus any other fees they think up. Don’t be fooled.
